Tommy began his photography career studying at New England School of Photography Boston in 1978. He then embarked upon a full time career shooting Actors & Corporate head shots, Model portfolios and Weddings in and around the Greater Boston area.
In June of 1980, Tommy moved to New York City to pursue a full time career in the photography industry. While in NYC he studied under some of the top Fashion and Beauty Photographers in the world.
He has attended many photography-oriented seminars over the past 10 years geared towards the digital photography revolution...
Recently, Tommy was featured in a four page article in the March 2005 issue of Rangefinder Magazine, (The Wedding Issue) as well as a three page article in the March 2003 issue of Studio Photography & Design... Nikon also featured him in a national advertorial in February of 2004...

Tommy is currently touring the country speaking, and putting on his seminar, where he discusses many of his techniques that will be published by Amherst Media in his new book "Creative Wedding Photojournalism"...
He spoke to a standing room only audience at the 2005 Photo Imaging & Design convention in San Diego this April, as well as a packed room with over 400 people at the WPPI convention in Las Vegas in April 2006. He has also spoken before numerous professional photographers associations that have included the Professional photographers association of Cape Cod (PPOCC) as well as Rhode Island (PPARI)...the reviews have been outstanding.
Today Tommy shoots between 30 - 50 weddings a year and maintains that most of his success is attributed to his acute photojournalism techniques coupled with his ability to communicate with his clients... |
